A family of three young girls is dead following a horrific crash between a sailboat and a barge in Biscayne Bay, Florida. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber spoke to the attorney for one of the victims to get his take on the case and how the tragedy could have been prevented.
A new first-run daily newsmagazine that examines the day’s most interesting court cases and true crime events will debut in syndication on September 14. The show is being produced by Law&Crime Network, the legal and true crime video network led by entrepreneur Dan Abrams. It will be distributed by Litton Entertainment, which has been producing a variety of syndicated and original TV and streaming content for more than 20 years.
Abrams says the launch is intended to capitalize on widespread national interest in legal stories, pointing out that there are “a lot of legal trials going on right now and people still want to know what’s happening.” He adds that 15 years ago, cable news networks would televise major court trials live, but these days they’re largely all politics, all the time.
The upcoming ‘Law&Crime Daily’ will be hosted by Aaron Keller, an attorney who has appeared on “ABC News,” “Entertainment Tonight” and other programs, and co-hosted by Terri Austin and Brian Buckmire. It will include interviews with prosecutors and investigators, as well as other sources who know the story from different angles. The show will be available on multiple platforms, including the Law&Crime app, YouTube and on some cable systems.
